Suddenly at Legal, Alberta, of James “Jamie” Bruce MacEwen aged 33 years. Beloved son of Charlene Currie and Bruce MacEwen. He will be sadly missed by brother Scott (Stacey) and friend Nikki Hutchinson. Survived by numerous aunts and uncles: Edwin DesRoches (Darlene), Elaine Prefontaine (Ed), Jim DesRoches (Claire), Jean Arsenault, Ivan DesRoches (Lil), Bobby DesRoches (Judy), Pauline Cormier (Clarence), Laurie DesRoches (Bernice), Claire Rio (Maurice), Donnie DesRoches (Nancy), Roger MacEwen (Heather), Wes MacEwen (Lin) and many cousins. Predeceased by grandparents Hilary and Emily DesRoches, Preston and Gladys MacEwen and aunt Sheila Praught. Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel from where the service will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. Interment in Midgell Cemetery.
