Mabel Elizabeth (Betty) Strickland
The death occurred at the Kings County Hospital on Sunday, September 25, 2011, of Betty Strickland (Leeco) of Murray River, aged 83 years.
Survived by daughters, Patti McCormack (Mike), Linda Jameson (Keith), Cindy Jesso (David), Vicky Strickland; son, John Strickland (Mary); sisters, Isla (Pres), Gail; brother, Frank (Brenda); grandchildren, Sheila, Gaylene, Chad, Susan, Tony, Lori, Elizabeth (Lisa), Peter, Vicky Ann, Amanda, Becky, Jeff and Kendra; and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband, Floyd; daughter, Brenda; sister, Anne; and parents, John and Lillian Leeco.
Resting at Southern Kings & Queens Funeral Home, Murray River. Visiting hours Friday, September 30, from 1-3 p.m. followed by the funeral at 4 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Murray River Church of Christ or Pat and the Elephant. Interment in the Beach Point Cemetery.
