It is with great sadness that the families of Ralph Reuban Rideout announce his sudden passing at his family residence in Hampden on Monday, September 26th, 2011 at the age of 77 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Paul (Jackie Ryan), Eric Rideout, Diana Rideout (Glenn Osmond), Clifford (Valerie) Osmond, Colin Rideout and Leslie Lake, 9 grandchildren Jake Rideout, Kaitlyn Rideout, Michael Rideout, Dylan Rideout and Stephen Osmond, his siblings: Phyliss Burden, Loretta Power, Lucy (Reg Fowlow), Rose (Lester Slade), Audrey (Wayne Colbourne), Flossie (Leamond Osmond), Josie Wells, Marilyn (Paul Colbourne), Trudy (Andrew Osmond), Lewis (Cecilia) Rideout, Fred Rideout, Timothy (Donna Rideout) and James Rideout, his brother-in-law Ted Burton. Ralph was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth, granddaughter Amy Osmond, parents: Hayward & Effie Rideout, sister Charlotte Burton, brothers-in-law: Ephram Burden, Ernest Power, Harry Wells, sister-in-law Elizabeth Rideout. The family will be receiving family and friends from the Salvation Army Church in Hampden, NL, on Wednesday, September 28th, 2011 from where the funeral service will take place with the burial to follow at the family plot of the United Church Cemetery in Hampden, NL.
