It is with great sadness that the family of the late Albert Thomas announce his passing on Tuesday, September 27th, 2011 at the Long Term Care Unit in his 93rd year. He leaves with many memories his children, daughters Joan (Phil) Gaulton, Dulcy (Lou) Brown, Enid (Wayne) Spurrell, sons: Ivan (Marina), Ron (Savannah), Calvin (Hugena) and Neil (Grace), 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, 1 brother Stewart Thomas. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Joyce, daughter Ruby, parents: Brento & Minnie Thomas, brothers: Jim, Max, Cyril, and Clayton, sisters: Daisy, and Hazel, Granddaughter Linda, sons-in-law: Douglas Pinksen and Douglas Brett, and daughter-in-law Ruby Thomas. Visitation will take place from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 Northmain Street, Deer Lake today, Wednesday 7-9 pm., Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will take place from The Pentecostal Church in Deer Lake on Friday at 2:00 pm. with Pastor Grimes and Pastor Freake officiating. Interment to follow at the family plot in Cormack Cemetery. Flowers or donations may be made to the Pentecostal Church in Cormack would graciously be accepted.
