It is with sadness we announce the death of Thirza Pearl Chadwick (Cooke) which occurred on Friday, Sept. 23, 2011.
Thirza was the only daughter of the late Bernard and Pearl Cooke (Church).
Thirza’s father, Bernard, was the son of Ernest and Annie Cooke and grew up in Trenton, NS, with his brothers: Mattie, Billy, Laurie, Johnny and Francis. When Bernard and his brothers joined the army he was stationed in Basingstoke, England, where he met and married Pearl Church. Thirza was their only child and is survived by her loving husband Robert and son Timothy of Fleet, England. Thirza has numerous cousins in NS on her father’s side of the family and cousins in England and New  Zealand on her mother’s side.
Thirza and Bob were very active in the Kennel Club, showing their prized Cocker Spaniels, Ella, Pheboe and Bridie.
Thirza will be greatly missed but never forgotten by her close cousin, Molly Crawley and family of New Glasgow, Jackie and Jean Cooke and family of Trenton, NS.
