Gordon was born and raised in the North Peace.
He grew up with his parents and siblings at Charlie Lake, BC.

Gordon spoke a lot of his childhood days,
swimming, hanging out at the Lake, diving for hooks for quarters, raising and showing steers for 4-H and claiming Championships with them. After Graduation, Gordon went to work on the Oil Rigs. He truly loved this profession and rapidly moved up the ladder, meeting and remaining friends with his Crews.

In 1977, Gordon married Debra Wilson. Through this marriage, they had two beautiful children, Trevor in 1979 and Jamie in 1980. Gordon loved being a Dad, he would always be teaching the kids math or history, teaching them to swim and they had to know every Premier of BC and President of the US.

Gordon always took great pride in having an immaculate yard and entering the Christmas Decoration contest year after year, for those that remember the red house which lit up 113th ave.

Gordon leaves to mourn, his Wonderful Children and Grandchildren, Son: Trevor, Lori, Kayden, Brody, Daughter: Jamie, Tyanna. Brothers, George (Lynda), Alex, Ted (Barb), Sister, Cathy Remple, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Gordon was predeceased by his parents, Ray and Mary Bolin and Brothers, Steve and Colin.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Gordon’s life Saturday October 01st, 2011 at The Pomeroy Hotel between 2-4PM

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the SPCA in Gordon’s name.
