GORDON, MARILYN R. - 1932 - 2011 - Marilyn R. Gordon passed away peacefully on September 28, 2011 at Pro Tem Nursing Home. Born in Moncton she was the daughter of the late David and Susan (Duffy) Biggs. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 54 years Bob Gordon, two daughters, Janet Gordon (Steve Armstrong) and Brenda (Patrick) Cyr as well as two grandsons, Luke and Jacob. She is also survived by one sister Eileen Nichols and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Reginald and Eldon. Marilyn enjoyed summers at her cottage at the Bluff. She loved sewing, crafts, golfing, gardening and baking. Her pies were legendary.
A memorial service will be held at the Chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 2:00 pm followed by a reception in the Garden View Reception Room. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. Remembrances in Marilyn's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or the charity of the donor's choice.
