Passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre, Burin, on Thursday, Sept. 15th, 2011, GRETA WINONA MAYO, of Creston South, NL, in her 61st year. Leaving to mourn her loving brother Jim (Viola), Creston South, nephew Don Mayo and family, Burlington, ON, niece Darlene Ryan and family, Ottawa, ON; Aunts Grace Legge (Ivan), Greta Rose, and Flora Lace (Eli), Uncles Clyde Brown and Clayton Senior; her home care support workers including the supervisor Andrea Hollett and workers Philomena Durnford, Mary Thorne, Velma Farrell, Geraldine Hennebury, and Yvonne Dunphy; and a large circle of relatives and friends. Predeceased by her parents Don and Gladys Mayo and by her grandparents.
Rev. Hubert F. Tucker conducted the Funeral Service at Calvary United Church, Creston South, on Saturday, Sept. 17th, 2011; at 2:00 pm. Interment was at the United Church Cemetery in Creston South.
