Passed peacefully away at the Grand Bank Health Centre on September 21st, 2011, Captain Harvey Banfield of Grand Bank in his 95th year. Predeceased by parents George & Susan Banfield, brother Gabriel and sisters Eliza, Esther, & Vera. Leaving to mourn: loving wife of 65 years, Blanche, daughter Sharon(Sam), grandsons Steven(Sandra), Sterling(Julie), two great-granddaughters, Megan & April, and a large circle of family and friends. Funeral service was conducted by Rev. Ricky Marsh from Grand Bank United Church at 2pm on Sunday Sept.25th.Interment took place at the United Cemetery Grand Bank.Organist was Betty Rogers.Pall Bearers were Sam Barnes,Steven Barnes,Sterling Barnes,Don Hollett,George Dolimount,& Joey Poulain. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Warren's Funeral Home, Grand Bank.
