
John Reginald Benjamin
BENJAMIN, JOHN REGINALD - It is with heavy hearts that the family of John Reginald Benjamin announce his sudden passing on September 28, 2011. Reg was born on February 14, 1930 in Kentville NS to the Late Clearance and Eva (Morrin) Benjamin. Reg leaves behind his wife of 52 years Pauline (Rice) , four daughters; Debbie (Rheal) Kenny, Stephanie (Rick) Barnes both of Wirral, Trudy (Tim) Gillett of Hoyt and Lisa (Keenan) Lord of Prince William, one son John (Ronda) Benjamin of Tracy, one sister Dorothy (Harold) Mahar of Kentville. He is also survived by his mother in law Doris Rice, 14 grand children, 20 great grandchildren and a great great grand daughter, along with several nieces and nephews and many friends. Before retiring Reg worked in road construction as a truck driver and equipment operator. He truly loved spending time with his family, they were his pride and joy, and he made sure they knew that. He enjoyed his daily walks along the road always smiling and waving to the passing motorist and his neighbors. Reg liked to read western novels and watch the older western movies. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge Sunbury # 42 and the Wirral Community Organization.
There will be no visitation or funeral service by Reg’s request. Cremation has taken place. Donations in Reg’s memory can be made to the White Rapids Manor Mini Bus Fund, the Wirral Community Organization or a charity of your choice.
