Don Snow passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at the age of 72. Don is survived by his wife Vee of 50 years; children, Katherin (Michael) of Mississauga, Kara (Randy), Brent and his two daughters, Abby and Beth, all of Red Deer ; and of course “Scoop”. He is also survived by his brother Richard (Dell) of Saskatoon, as well as many nieces and nephews. Don will be fondly remembered by staff and students of Red Deer College, where he founded and taught the Social Work program from 1969 right up until this past spring of 2011. He has touched the lives of so many with his own unique style, humor and compassion. Don has left a little bit of himself with EVERYONE. A Gathering to celebrate Don’s life will be held in the Monaco Room of the Capri Centre , Red Deer, Alberta on Sunday, October 2, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Don’s memory may be made directly to the Red Deer College Foundation, P.O.
