Ronald Joseph Brennan

Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on September 26th, 2011, in his 65th year, after a lengthy illness, surrounded by his loving wife Bernice and daughter Rhonda and a large circle of family and friends. Predeceased by his parents Edward and Mary Brennan (Hand), father-in-law John Boland, sisters Mary Masterson (Les), Elizabeth Fitzpatrick (Leo), Rose Rodgers (Jim), Margaret Coffey (Len), brothers Edward (Marie), John and Bob. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Bernice (nee Boland), daughter Rhonda (Johnathan Connolly), the joy of his life in the past year beautiful little granddaughter Bridgette; sisters Anne Hann (Cyril, deceased) and Kathleen Stevenson (Mike); brothers Bill (Anna), Mike (Hannah), Gerald (Loretta), Cyril (Joan), Dave (Sharon), Leo (Peggy), Pat (Sandra); mother-in-law Catherine Boland; brothers-in-law Gerald (Helen), Jim (Bernice), Don (Carol), Kevin (Linda), Leo (Rosie), Ron (Glendora), Joe (Jo Ann), John (Linda); sisters-in-law Alice Brennan, Eleanor Brennan, Carolann Wilson (Brian) and Angela Tucker (Calvin); also a large number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and a large circle of close friends. Ron was a long time member of both the Terra Nova Council Knights of Columbus and the Royal St. John’s Regatta Committee and a Hall of Fame Coxswain. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Wednesday and Thursday from 1 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Friday, September 30th, at 9:30 a.m. from Mary Queen of Peace Church, Torbay Road. Interment to follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery, Outer Cove. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.
