BOURNE, Gilbert – Passed peacefully away at Lakeside Homes, Gander, on September 29, 2011, Gilbert Bourne, age 85 years. Gilbert was a retired employee with Air Canada, where he worked for 38 years. Predeceased by wife, Madeline; daughters-in-law: Cynthia and Bobbi. Left with loving memories are his sons: Paul of Gander, Kevin of Edmonton, AB; daughters: Linda (Carl) Feltham of St. John’s, Brenda and Cathy Bourne, both of Toronto; sisters: Clara Wells of Toronto; grandchildren: Brandon and Leia. Also a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Stacey’s Funeral Home, Gander, with visitations Sunday, October 2 and Monday, October 3, 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Funeral service Tuesday, October 4, at 11:00 a.m. from St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Gander.
