SQUIRES, Ethel W. –Passed peacefully away on Monday, December 8th, 2008 in the presence of her loving family, at the Health Sciences Center, Ethel Squires, aged 81 years. Predeceased by her husband Richard, son-in-law Sam, granddaughter Katie. Left to mourn her children: Rose Langdon (Ken), Dianne Oliver, Nancy Whelan (Joe), Richard (Teri), Harry (Jack), Lynn Owens (Perry), Susan Squires (Ron Oliver), Michele Pelley (Clint), Michael Squires and Monique Squires (Tony Tucker); grandchildren: Pat O’Neill (Kathy), Tina Bishop (Dave), Ricky O’Neill (Alicia), Tammy O’Neill (Shanna), Todd O’Neill (Bronwyn), Mark O’Neill, Aimee O’Neill (Rankim), Sam Oliver (Kathryn), Steve Oliver (Lisa), Amanda Oliver (Robert), Joe Whelan (Wendy), Dodi Todd (Mark), Dana Tucker (Cory), Peter Whelan (Gill), Angie Squires, Richard Squires (Carrie), Bradley Squires, Jackie Norman (Dwayne), Lacosta Squires, Darcell Squires (Kenneth), Stacie Von Berg (Mark), Lana Owens. Sara Owens, Kate Pelley, Mike Pelley, Lucas Pelley, Jake Pelley, Noel Squires and Andrew Tucker; great-grandchildren: Jake, Cody and Alex O’Neill, Victoria, Nicholas, and Ben Bishop, Tyrell and Noah O’Neill, Matthew Oliver, Hailey Doyle, Alex, Kenzie and Joey Whelan, Riley and Cory Tucker, Pete Whelan, Chante Squires, Willow Squires, Abby and Ethan Norman, James Squires; two sisters: Lorraine Rowe and Mary King; three sisters-in-law: Catherine Squires, Effie Stevenson, Scotland and Mattie Crosby, Washington; brother-in-law Hubert Squires, other numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell\'s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road. Visitation from 10-9 p.m. Wednesday and from 10-12 noon Thursday. Funeral service on Thursday, December 11th, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Philip’s Anglican Church. Interment to follow in the St. Philip’s Anglican Cemetery.
