Peacefully surrounded by the love of his family at the Kingston General Hospital on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011.
Beloved husband of Verna (nee Rose). Cherished and loving father of Gerry (Karen), Darrell (Joanne),Dale (Becky), and Rod (Sharon). Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Samantha, Stephanie, Daniel, Sarah, Layney, Max, and Bradley (Sara). Much loved great-grandpa of Natalie. Loving brother of Cathy (Ken), Rita, Sheila of P.E.I., Gerald (Doreen), Anaise of Toronto. Predeceased by sisters Mary, Tilly, Clara, Lucy and brother Johnie. Will be missed by the Rose and Gauthier families and many relatives and friends of P.E.I., New York, and Toronto.
Friends will be received at the Gordon F. Tompkins Funeral Homes, Township Chapel 435 Davis Drive on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 from the times of 1 p.m. until the time of service at 1:30 p.m. followed by a luncheon.
