Peacefully at Mary of Peace CND Infirmary in Montreal, QC, on October 1, 2011 of Sr. Edna L. Pitre CND (Soeur Saint Ignace-Martyr), age 92 years.
Born in Hope River, P.E.I., she was the daughter of the late Ignace and Precile Pitre. She is survived by her brothers Clarence ( Zita, deceased), Francis (Marie, deceased) and her sister Rita Peters. She was also predeceased by her sisters Marguerite (Albert) Gaudet and Ida May (Edwin) Tremblay.
Resting at Notre Dame Convent, 246 Sydney St., Charlottetown, for visitation on Wednesday 6 to 9 p.m. The funeral will be held on Thursday with funeral mass from St. Dunstan's Basilica at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Ann's Parish Cemetery, Hope River.
