TITUS, DAVID HOWARD - David Howard Titus devoted husband for 34 years of Deborah (Holden) Titus of Willow Grove, passed away unexpectedly in Chipman, NB on Saturday October 1, 2011. Born May 19, 1952 in Saint John to the late George Howard and Evelyn (Flewelling) Titus. David worked in Parts & Sales in the transport truck industry for many years and retired in 2006. Devoted husband, father, grampy, brother, uncle and friend. He was a graduate of Simonds High School, a member of the Saint John Flying Club and was an avid outdoorsman. David had a passion for flying, fishing, hunting and long country drives. Besides his loving wife, David is survived by his daughters Jane Marie Elliott (James) of Willow Grove, NB and Diane Lynn Arsenault (Trevor) of Nerepis, NB; two precious grandchildren whom he adored Hunter and Savannah; sisters Carol Naubauer (Bill) of Florida and Muriel Vey “Pinky” of Alberta; aunt Edith Kelly of Saint John; many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews, friends and special feline friend Bandit. Besides his parents, David was predeceased by his brother Allen.
Resting at the Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation on Wednesday, October 5th from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, October 6th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Celebration of Life will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, October 7th 2011at 2:00 p.m. Private family interment to take place at a later date.
