Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, September 30, 2011, Cecilia Lynch of Harbour Grace, age 66 years. Predeceased by husband:
Nathaniel 'Nath'; infant son: Edward; grandson: Nathaniel 'Buddy' Lynch; parents: Lawrence and Mary Mercer. Left to mourn two daughters: Jeanette (Darrell) Butt, Hanmer, ON and Alice (Kevin) Pye, Harbour Grace; three grandchildren: Jonah, Ryan and Jonathan; five brothers: Lawrence (Angela) Mercer, Paradise, Ralph (Donna) Mercer, Bridgewater, NS, Ed (Sylvia) Mercer and Don (Rosalind) Mercer, both of Harbour Grace and Jerry (Catherine) Mercer, Harbour Grace South; four sisters: Sadie (Graham) Lynch, Harbour Grace, Frances (Malcolm) Sears, Paradise, Veronica (Walter) Follett and Janet Mercer, both of Harbour Grace; sister-in-law: Hazel Lynch, Harbour Grace; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street Harbour Grace. Fr. William Pearce conducted the Funeral Mass on Monday, October 3 at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace. Interment took place in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace. Donations in her memory may be made to the Cecilia Lynch Memorial Fund.
