
Raymond Auger
AUGER - Raymond, aged 63 of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan and formerly of Ponteix, passed away October 1, 2011 at Moose Jaw Union Hospital. Raymond was born June 22, 1948 in Ponteix, Saskatchewan and attended school at Ponteix. Raymond married Pearl Guy September 28, 1928. He always enjoyed working with his hands and was employed at several places doing construction and concrete work. His special interests included bowling, baseball, fishing, camping, barbequeing, gardening and pets. He really enjoyed sitting around a camp fire visiting with anyone and everyone. Raymond was always willing to lend a hand to anyone and was a very independent man. Raymond is survived by: wife Pearl; sons Stephen (Kerri), Allan (Rachel) and Terry; grandchildren Megan, Kacie, Joshua, Sidney and Elizabeth; brothers Roger (Hedy) deMontigny, Lucien (Rose) Auger, Marcel (Mary) Auger; sisters Armande Goddu, Lucille (Laurent) Dumont, Yvette Wetterstrand, Helene Desautels, Madelene Spaan, Marguerite (Fred) Weber, Theresa (Paul) Andreas; sister-in-law Louise (Paul) Raymond and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Albert Auger; mother Adrienne (Cote) and brother Paul Auger. The Memorial Service was held on Saturday, October 8, 2011 from Notre Dame d'Auvergne Roman Catholic Church, Ponteix, Saskatchewan at 10:00 am with Father Raymond Carignan officiating. The Eulogy was read by Marguerite Weber. The Urnbearers were sons Stephen, Allan, and Terry. The Interment Service will take place at Notre Dame Parish Cemetery, Ponteix, SK. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Lemieux Funeral Home, Ponteix, SK were entrusted with the arrangements.
