Passed peacefully away at her residence, in the presence of her loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer, Jessie Torraville, at age 63. Predeceased by her parents Gordon and Edna Squires. Leaving with fond and loving memories her four children: Stephen (Valerie), Angela (Jason Mortimer), Gary (Krista), Cindy (Chris) Hewitt; six precious grandchildren: Nicole, Matthew, Nathan, Hannah, Katie and Madeline; sisters: Rosamond (Don) Harding, Minnie (Bruce) Higgins, Glenda (George) Torraville; brother Don (Sophie); very special dear friends Audrey and John Bannister; also a large number of nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Ave., Mt. Pearl on Monday, October 19th from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, October 20th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service at Barrett’s Chapel on Wednesday, October 21st at 11 a.m. Interment to be at Victoria Cove, Gander Bay.
