William David 'Billy' MacAdam

Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa surrounded by his loving family on Oct. 8, 2011 at the age of 78.
Loving husband of Dolena ‘Dolly’ for 54 years. Loving father of David (Cie) of Vancouver and Mick (Sheryl) of Oshawa. Adored Grampa of Mandy, Courtney and Liam. Billy leaves behind siblings, Donald (Liz), Neddy and Berniece (Angus) as well as sisters-in-law Freda, Stella and Gwen.
Predeceased by his parents Allen and Helen, brothers, John, Francis and Mick and sister, Myrtle.
He will be loved and missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Billy will be best remembered for his great sense of humour, love of card games and heading back East.
Visitation will be held at Oshawa Funeral Home, 847 King St. West (905-721-1234) on Wednesday, Oct. 12, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 903 Giffard St., Whitby, on Thursday, Oct. 13 at 10 a.m.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the compassionate staff of the ICU at Lakeridge Health Oshawa for taking great care of Billy and his family.
