Passed peacefully away on October 8, 2011 at St. Clare's Hospital in St. Johns, Francis Anthony Jackman of Grand Falls-Windsor. He was 80 years of age. He leaves to mourn his wife, Joan; sons, Mike, Wayne (Effie), Cory (Corinne); daughters, Diane (Rick), Doni (Kevin), Mary (Joe), Corrina and Connie. Also leaving to mourn are sisters, Loretta Gale, Ann Aucoin; brother, Clem and a numerous circle of other relatives and friends. Father Houlahan conduc-ted funeral services at St. Joseph’s Parish, Grand Falls-Windsor on Wednesday October 12, 2011. Interment was at the Roman Catholic cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hoskins Funeral Homes, Grand Falls-Windsor. Pallbearers were Cory Jackman, Mike Jackman, Wayne Jackman, Shane Jackman, Jesse Jackman and Rick Reid.
