Vivian Jowett
JOWETT, VIVIAN - The death of Vivian May Jowett of Loch Lomond Villa, formerly of Lakewood Heights, Devoted wife of Ronald Eugene Jowett occurred on Monday, October 10, 2011 at the Loch Lomond Villa. Born November 3, 1926, in Saskatoon, she was a daughter of the late James Thomas and Massie Gertrude (Whiteneck) Spears. Vivian worked as an Executive Secretary for Children’s Aide, and for C.P.Railways for a number of years. She was a member of the Fundy Chapter # 34 Order of the Eastern Star and a 50 year member of Edith Avenue Baptist Church. Besides her devoted husband Ronald of 66 years, she is survived by sons R. E. Jowett (Joyce) of Saint John, and R. A. Jowett (Milie) of Manitoba, daughter Candace Boyle (Neil) of Saint John, brother James Spears of P.E.I. Cherished grandmother to nine grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by sisters Lorraine, Gladys, Dorothy, and June.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visiting hours on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2011 from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 am with Rev. Grant Alcorn officiating. Interment to follow in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
