Peacefully, with her daughter Bonnie at her side, at Perrin’s Clinton View Lodge, Clinton on Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2011 of Helen Freda Champion- MacLeod formerly of Kensington, aged 88 years. Born in Brookfield on Nov. 20, 1922 daughter, of the late Ernest and Katherine (Buchanan) Younker. Wife of the late Wallace Champion and the late Aubrey MacLeod. Mother of Cynthia Champion, Aylesford, Nova Scotia; Bonnie Colwill, Summerside and Kirk (Joan) Champion, Darnley. Grandmother to Bevin (Mary) Champion, Saint John, New Brunswick; Amos Champion, Darnley; Katie Champion, Darnley and Rhonda Gill, Summerside. Loving Aunt of Linda Allen, Charlottetown. She will be sadly missed by her special caregiver “My Gilda”, Gilda Stephens. Predeceased by son Bevin Champion and brother and sister-in-law Claude and Evelyn Younker. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation on Wednesday from 6:30-8 p.m. Funeral Thursday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment in People’s Cemetery, Malpeque.
