FEHR – Robert Jacob Fehr (Bob), age 68 of Swift Current, SK, passed away suddenly on October 11, 2011, at Medicine Hat Hospital. Bob is predeceased by his parents Jacob and Gertrude Fehr. He is survived by his children, Tracy (Darcy) Wiens, Stacey Fehr, Joey (Tyler) Jacobson, Tabitha (Mike) Spence, and Scott Lewry; his brother Tom (Linda) Fehr; and his sisters, Alma (Philip) Frame, Norma (Roy) Dyck, and Mary (Gordon) Gerbrant. He is also survived by his grandchildren Sonya, Mathew and Joshua Wiens, Braylon Fehr, Whitney, Jesse and Dawson Jacobson, and Dessorey, Brendan, Maiyson and Dashanda Fehr. Bob’s first great grandchild will be born in December. Born in Wymark, SK, Bob attended Omen School. After school he worked various jobs until he found his true calling as a truck driver and worked with many companies. He ended his career as a cabdriver working for United Taxi and eventually starting his own company, City Wide Cabs. During this time Bob married the love of his life, Connie Koochicum. Bob had many interests which included bowling and gardening. He loved to hunt, fish and golf, and recently enjoyed a deep sea fishing trip to Florida. Dad loved dogs, especially his german shepherd, Kim, and really loved being with his grandchildren. Bob had a huge heart and would help anybody who needed it. A service was held at Parkside Memorial Funeral Home on Saturday, October 15, at 2:00 p.m. followed by a graveyard service at Schantzenfeld Cemetery in Wymark, SK. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Parkside Memorial Funeral Home.
