Margaret Bernice Williams, 73, of Glencarin Ave., Westmount, passed away Sunday, Oct. 16, 2011, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late James and Albertine (Thompson) Burns.
Bernice was a member of Holy Rosary parish, Westmount.
Surviving are her daughter, Anita (Keith) Duggan, Sydney; son, Roland (Kim), Dartmouth; sister, Phyllis Burns, Westmount; brothers, Jimmy (Gail), Sydney and Wes (Ann Marie), Coxheath; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Sydney Memorial Chapel on Wednesday at 10 a.m., with Rev. Douglas Murphy officiating. Interment in Forest Haven Memorial Gardens.
The family would like to thank the staff of 3A at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital for the wonderful care shown to Bernice.
