MCCORDIC, BARBARA ILDA - Barbara Ilda McCordic, 72, of Havelock passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at the Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital, Moncton following a lengthy illness. Born in Havelock she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Lillian (Kennerson) Dunham. Barabara took great pride in quilting and her flower gardens but mostly enjoyed looking after her husband and family. Survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Henry; their children Donald (Charlene), Debra Killam (Pat), Susan Wright (Tommy), Brenda Branscombe (Ralphy), Laura Harrison (George), Dianne Bannister (Andy) and Helen McCordic; sisters Louise Bannister (John), Winnie Ricker; brother Sidney Dunham (Theo); sisters in law Vera and Glenda Dunham; eleven grandchildren; six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by an infant daughter Marilyn; brothers Herbert, Albert, Ken and John Dunham and William Holebrook.
Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral will be held from the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, October 20 at 11 a.m. with Rev. David Woodworth officiating. Interment at the Loyalist Cemetery, Havelock.
