SWALLOW, HOWARD MELVIN - (1917 - 2011) - It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Howard Swallow on Oct 19, 2011 at the Villa Acadienne in Meteghan, N.S. formerly of Falkland Ridge & New Germany, N.S. Howard spent his life as a farmer, woodsman, labourer and construction foreman and always enjoyed the companionship of his dogs. He was the son of the late Willard and Effie Swallow of Falkland Ridge and predeceased by his brother Vernon Swallow. Howard is survived by his daughters June Massey of Meteghan, Betty Bliss (Barclay) of Fredericton, N.B. and son Fred Swallow (Lynn) of Fredericton, grandchildren Ben, Vickie, Michelle, Joel, Lori and great granddaughter Nova Lee.
There will be no visitation or funeral by the request of the family. The arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home in New Germany, N.S.
