It is with sadness that the families of the late Jennie Viola Hillier announce her passing on October 19, 2011 at the Carmelite Seniors Home, Grand Falls-Windsor, aged 89. Jennie is predeceased by her husband, Silas; parents, Ben and Pearl Clarke; infant daughter, Rosalind; son Roger; brothers, Edward, Roy, Jim, Harold, Ronald; sister, Golda. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children, David (Anne), Donna (Don) McDonald, Charles, Terry (Lil), Judy (Don) Thomas, Gordon (Diane), Colin, Robert (Lorraine), Gary, Christine (Keith) Jenkins, Susan (Mark) Anthony, Shirley (daughter-in-law); grandchildren, Mark (Sue), Matthew (Tammy-Lynn), Renee (Michael Downs), Curtis (Rosalind), Lucas, Tina (Shawn), Brian (Lesley), Nancy (Darren), Dawn (David Peddle), Paul, David, Christopher, Lucas, Jennifer, Tyler, and Robyn; great-grandchildren, Lucy, Mackenzie, Zander, Mason, Cole, Rebecca, and Mya; brother, Morley Clarke; sisters-in-law, Marjorie, Marion, Helen, and Joan; as well as a large number of nephew, nieces, relatives and friends. Visitation took place Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 7-9 pm and Friday, October 21, 2011 at 2-4 and 7-9 pm from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL. The funeral service took place Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 3:30 pm from The Holy Trinity Anglican Church with Reverend Randy Lockyer officiating. Donations in her memory may be made to the Holy Trinity Memorial Fund. Pallbearers were David Hillier, Paul Thomas, Chris Hillier, Luke Hillier, Gord Hillier, and Terry Hillier.
