Peacefully after an illness, surrounded by family at Markham Stouffville Hospital on Friday, Oct. 21, 2011, at the age of 65.
Beloved husband of Mary. Dear father of Mary (Mark), Michael (Dawn), Marina Lee (Eric) and loving grandfather of Keith, Jessica, Morgan, Tyler and Madison. Beloved son of Anne and the late John Roderick MacInnis.
He is survived by his siblings, Joe (Mary), Sydney, David (Donna), Middle Cape, Nelson (Donna), Halifax, Dianne, Hamilton, Ont., Edward (Joanne), Sydney River, Tommy (Hilda), Brampton, Ont., Judy, Oakville, Ont., Billy (Elaine), Richmond HIll, Ont., Kevin (Donna), Ben Eoin, Beverly (Darren), Amherst and predeceased by baby sister, Beverly Anne. He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews and sister-in-law, Marina Sweet.
Friends will be received at the Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, 166 Main St. N. (Markham Road), Markham, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass at St. Patrick’s Church, 5633 Hwy. 7, Markham on Monday at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
