Passed peacefully away at the Dr. L.A. Miller Centre, Palliative Care Unit on Saturday, October 22, 2011, Rev. Fr. Roy Hatcher (Anglican Clergy) aged 54 years. Predeceased by his father Clifton Hatcher. Leaving to mourn with fond memories his loving wife Dr. Lydia (nee Bhattacharya); daughter Dr. Natalia Pittman (Michael); son Christopher; mother Emmie Hatcher; sister Marilyn Thistle (Keith); brother Clifton (Hannah); uncle Roy Boone; brothers-in-law: Dr. Janok Bhattacharya (Cyndy), Dr. Ashok Bhattacharya (Serida), Eugene Bhattacharya (Connie); sister-in-law Unah Grieve (Andrew); special friend Carol Matthews; also many cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl from 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Sunday and Monday and then from 10 a.m. -12 noon Tuesday. Funeral service to be held from St. George’s Anglican Church, Petty Harbour on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at 2:00pm. Cremation to follow the service. A private interment will be held at the Anglican Cemetery, Forest Road. No flowers by request.
