Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Thursday, October 20, 2011, Marjorie Boutcher of Carbonear, age 85 years. Predeceased by husband: Wilson; parents: Josiah and Bertha Davis and daughter-in-law: Janet; sister: Anne Davis. Left to mourn, three daughters: Helen (Vincent) Holloway, North Vancouver, Lorna (Lonzel) Button, Harbour Grace and Wendy (George) Snow, Carbonear; one son: Duncan, Victoria; nine grandchildren: Steven, Todd, Leah, David (Kelley), Susan (Jason), Christopher, Katie, Cory (Deanne) and Jody (Deanne); seven great-grandchildren: Meghan, Hillary, Kyle, Erica, Alyssa, Savannah and Olivia; four brothers: Fred, Clyde (Yvonne), Sam (Dorothy) and Everette (Evelyn); three sisters: Florence Perry, Carol (Bob) Wilkinson and Glenys (Don) McNeil; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Rev. Mark Janes conducted the funeral service on Monday, October 24 at St. James Anglican Church, Carbonear. Interment took place in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear. Donations in her memory may be made to St. James Anglican Church, Carbonear.
