The death occurred at Charlottetown on Sunday, October 23, 2011, of Dawna Lynn Marie Noonan, aged 47 years.
Beloved wife of Robert O’Hanley and much loved mother of Kendra and William (Willy) O’Hanley. Loving daughter of Elaine Noonan and the late William (Bill) Noonan. Sister of Darren (Laura Lee) Noonan, Charlottetown and Natalie (Aaron) McLean, Halifax. Daughter-in-law of Gisele O’Hanley and the late Dr. J. Hubert O’Hanley. Sister-in-law of Dr. Gerry (Judith) O’Hanley, Dr. Peter (Lynn) O’Hanley, Dr. Marie (Dr. Stuart Matheson) O’Hanley, Dr. Suzanne (Brian) Mark, John O’Hanley, Michelle O’Hanley, and Ghislaine (Brian) O’Hanley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graduate of UPEI (BBA), Queen’s University (MIR), and University of Toronto Law School (JD). Dawna practised law in Toronto and Charlottetown prior to becoming part of the executive team at Holland College for many years. She also greatly enjoyed teaching as a lecturer at UPEI.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home until Wednesday at 10 a.m., then to Our Lady Of The Assumption Church, Stratford, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Visitation on Tuesday from 8-10 p.m.
