BOURQUE, ALEXINA - Alexina Bourque, 77, wife of the late Willie Bourque formerly of Grand Barachois passed away suddenly on Monday, October 24, 2011 at the Villa Providence, Shediac. Born May 26, 1934 in Barachois, she was the daughter of the late Cléophas and Exelda (LeBlanc) Gallant. She was employed with Dom Glass prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Branch 33, Shediac. Alexina will be greatly missed by her loving family, two daughters: Louise Skerry (Joey) of Grand Barachois and Ginette Rowe (Gary) of Calgary, AB; a son Ronald of Moncton; one sister Marguerite Gallant of Shediac, four brothers: Euclide Gallant (Georgette), Rodolphe Gallant (Yvrette) and Loyola Gallant all of Grand Barachois, Elzéar Gallant (Florence) of Shediac; five grandchildren: Donna, Nadine, Amanda, Alicia and Mélanie, a special friend Albénie Lirette and by many nieces, nephews and friends. She is predeceased by her husband Willie Bourque (2007), two sons: Michel and Daniel, two brothers: Dismas and Albert Gallant and by two sisters: Léontine Lirette and Bertha Cormier.
Visitation at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) on Thursday, from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday, from 9:30 a.m. until time of departure at 10:10 a.m. Funeral mass will be held at Saint Henri Roman Catholic, Grand Barachois on Friday, October 28, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the parish cemetery.
