Peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit of Community Hospital, O’Leary, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011 of Anna Elizabeth (Ramsay) MacLeod, Brae, age 76, beloved wife of Errison MacLeod. Born in Montrose on May 14, 1935, daughter of the late Heber and Muriel (Clark) Ramsay. Dear mother to Douglas (Ellen) and Terry (Colleen), all of Brae. Loving grandmother to seven grandchildren; Jerrie (Al), Sally (Mark), Katey, Jeana (Rodney), John (Courtney), Cory and Morgan, great grandchildren Munroe and Samuel. Anna is also survived by sisters in law Joyce Bell and Elaine Ballum, both of Summerside, Aunts Beatrice Irving and Blanche Clark. Predeceased by her parents, sister Eleanor (Stuart)Fraser, and parents in law Mae (Fred) MacLeod. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary with visiting hours Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral will be held on Thursday in the chapel at 1:30p.m. Interment to follow in the Brae United Church Cemetery. In memory of Anna, donations to the Brae United Church Cemetery, Brae United Church or Cancer Society would be appreciated.
