WILLIAMS, W. LESLIE - William Leslie Williams, 86, of Maple Street Woodstock, NB, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville, NB. Leslie was born in Wales, UK, on September 13, 1925, son of the late Thomas and Annie (James) Williams. Leslie is survived by his wife; Helen (Grant) Williams, Woodstock, NB, children; Barbara Belyea, Woodstock, NB, Paul, (Arleen Soucey), Texas, Carl (Nancy), Woodstock, NB, Karen Bragdon (Lloyd), Woodstock, NB, Neil, North Lake, NB, eleven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, sisters; Evelyn Hall, Letty Ivey, Winnifred Karney, Dorothy Burrell, brothers; Joseph, David, Watcyn, Edward, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, Leslie was predeceased by a grandson, Christopher Dube, brothers; James, John and a son in law, Winston Belyea.
Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville on Thursday, October 27 from 7 to 9 and Friday, October 28 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 29 at 2 PM from St. Luke’s Anglican Church, Woodstock, NB. Interment will be in the Woodstock Rural Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made St. Luke’s Anglican Church, Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 11 or to a memorial of the donor’s choice.
