It is with great sadness that the family of the late Joseph “Keith” Schwartz announce his passing on Friday, October 21, 2011 at the University of Alberta Hospital, Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 45 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Thelma (Simmons) Schwartz; son Kyler Schwartz; step sons: Matthew and Michael Simmons; parents Harold and Phyllis Schwartz; sisters: Arlene King and Sharon (Derrick Spurrell); brother Glenn (Mary) Schwartz; father-in-law Hubert Simmons; sisters and brothers-in-law: Penny, Lori (Michael), Daren (Kem), Kathy (Randy), Valma (Ted), Verna, Kitty (Terry), Garrie (Deyon), Judy (John) and Donna (Eldon); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents Stanley and Evelyn Mouland; Samuel and Ethel Schwartz; mother-in-law Bonnie Simmons. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake on Friday from the hours of 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 29 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Paul’s United Church with Rev. Dr. Tony Newell officiating. Interment to follow at the Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
