Eddy Bonar, 73, Little Pond, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Born in Little Pond, he was the son of the late John James and Bertha V. (Miller) Bonnar.
He was a member of St. Stephen’s parish, Florence.
He is survived by his daughter, Valerie; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his brothers, Francis (Marian), Kenny (Debra), Danny (Debbie), Ronnie (Joyce) and Adrian; his sisters, Jean (Bruce), Helen, Florence, Cathy (David) and Debbie.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Raymond and Kayward.
There will be no visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will take place Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Stephen’s Church, Florence, with Fr. Thomas John officiating. Burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Bras d’Or.
