At the Kings County Memorial Hospital in Montague on Tuesday, October 27, 2009, of Mary Bertha Gormley (nee McCarthy) of St. Mary\'s Road, age 94 years.
Wife of the late Raymond Gormley. Loving mother of Shirley (Robert) Broderick, Point Prim; Greta (Preston) McGuigan, Montague; John P. (Norah), High Bank; Everett (Judy), St. Mary\'s Road; and Ralph (Cindy), Murray Harbour North. Survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her sister, Madelyn Oblak, Toronto, Ont.; son-in-law, Sherman Pace, Halifax and daughter-in-law Joan Gormley, St. Mary\'s Road. Predeceased by son Carl, daughters Gloria Gormley, Joan Pace, and grandsons Paul and David McGuigan.
Resting at Ferguson\'s Montague Funeral Home until Friday at 10:30 a.m., then to St. Paul\'s Church, Sturgeon, for funeral mass at 11 a.m. Interment in the parish cemetery. Visitation Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
