(1930-2011) — Korean War Veteran. Passed peacefully away after a lengthy illness, Andrew Joseph Cleary, aged 81 years on October 28, 2011, at Caribou Memorial Veterans Pavillion. Andrew was born in Argentia and lived in Placentia Bay most of his life. He was pre-deceased by his wife Rose Marie (Ryan) in 2009 and daughter Geraldine O’Leary in 2010. He is survived by children, Rick, Jerome, Ellen, Jim, Frank, Rose and Larry and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorial Service will take place at Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia on Tuesday, October 1, 2011 at 2pm. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
