Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Monday, October 31, 2011, in the presence of her family, Annie Foley, aged 86 years. Predeceased by her loving husband, Jack (August, 1990); her parents: William and Maria Ryan; Sisters: Ethel (Richard Hannaford), Marion (William Carroll), Lucy (Bill Walters); brother, Thomas Ryan; aunt, Mary E. Allen; parents-in-law: Jack and Loretta Foley; brothers-in-law: Ralph (Jean), Bill (Eileen), Philip Sr., Kevin (Agnes) and Patrick Foley; sisters-in-law: Bride Holden (Mike), Margie Hanlon (Nick), Maureen Power (Bill), Kay Foley; nephews: Jerome Walters, Frankie Ryan Sr. and Barry Walters; niece, Barbara Rodgers. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, her loving son Kenneth (Rosalind) and devoted daughter Donna; special and adored grandsons: Andrew Foley (fiancée Jessica Flight) and Jonathan Foley; loving sister, Margaret (Gus) Walters; sisters-in-law: Betty Ryan and Pearl Foley; brother-in-law, Mike Foley Sr.; also a large circle of nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, along with other relatives and close friends. Special thank-you to Dr. Pamela Pike and the wonderful nurses and staff of 7 West at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital for their kindness, compassion and care over the last 6 weeks. Also special thank-you to Dr. Patrick O’Shea and Dr. Susan King, especially during the past 8 months. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Wednesday from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m. – 12 noon, 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Friday, November 4th, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. from St. Teresa’s Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
