ROGERS, ETTA ELIZABETH - January 10, 1920 - November 2, 2011 - The death of Etta Elizabeth Rogers of Riverside Court Retirement Residence, Woodstock and formerly of Riceville, NB occurred on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at the Upper River Valley Hospital. Born in Temple, NB on January 10, 1920. Etta was the daughter of the late Harry and Bessie (Wright) Grant. Etta is survived by one son Ted (Paulette) Rogers of Grande-Digue, NB; four grandchildren, Sonya Lynn (Paul) Moss of Boca Raton, Florida, Darryl (Donna) Rogers of Hammond, La., Kenneth Rogers of Fredericton, NB Todd Rogers of Grande-Digue, NB; five great grandchildren Jeremiah, Morgan, Tye, Lucien and Gabe. Besides her parents Etta was predeceased by her husband Heldey W. Rogers, Sisters Thelma Mae Moir, Ruth Grant and brother Neil V. Grant.
Resting at The Culberson Funeral Home, 188 Connell Street, Woodstock, NB with visitation on Saturday, November 5, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held for Etta Rogers on Sunday, November 6, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from Calvary United Pentecostal Church 135 Wallace Street, Woodstock, NB, with Rev. Terry Brewer officiating, assisted by Rev. Harry Lewis and Rev. Robert Foster. Interment to follow at the Upper Meductic Cemetery.
