It is with deep sadness we say goodbye to our beloved Teresa King (nee Stefiuk).

Teresa passed away unexpectedly on October 31st, 2011 at the age of 42.

Teresa leaves behind her husband, Mike Mendzat; parents, Ann and Larry Stefiuk; brother, Trevor and sister-in-law, Shelley. She is further survived by many relatives and beloved friends.

Teresa will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Teresa was born in Saskatchewan, and at a very young age moved to BC with her family. She was raised in Kamloops and completed her schooling there. After her graduation and marriage, she moved to Calgary to continue her work with various law firms. Here she developed a passion for running and has completed numerous marathons. She also enjoyed traveling when she could and made a few trips to exotic places around the world. Teresa met her husband Mike in Banff and later relocated to Edmonton. During her time in Edmonton she developed a passion for sailing and was an active member of Sunshine Bay Yacht Club.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 9th at 11:00 a.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 - 111 Avenue, Edmonton. Cremation will follow.

Should friends desire, donations to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (cbcf.org) would be appreciated in her memory.
