JANES, Terry David — 60, South Rawdon, Hants Co., passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, October 27, 2011. Born June 23, 1951 in Lewisporte, Newfoundland, he was the son of the late Stephen and Pearl (Wall) Janes. Terry was a mechanic for 40 years, the last 11 of which he owned and operated Janes’ Auto Service in Sackville. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and gardening. Since his retirement, Terry’s main aspiration was to spend as much time as he could with his loving wife. He loved spending time with his family and adored every moment spent with his grandchildren. Terry will be sadly missed by his family and many friends. Terry is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, the former, Maxine Clara Brenson; son, Michael (Myra), Lawrencetown; daughter, Tracy (Randy) Prosser, Stewiacke; grandchildren, Ashley and Amanda MacInnes, Julie and Meaghan Janes; sisters, Janet Pickford and Joan Williams, both of Lewisporte; as well as extended family. He was predeceased by father and mother-in-law, Ralph and Emmiline (Goodyear) Brenson. Arrangements for cremation were entrusted to Lohnes-DeMont Funeral and Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317), where the family received visitors 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, November 1. Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 2, in South Rawdon Baptist Church, Cross Rd. 3, South Rawdon, Rev. Clarence Bungay officiating. A reception followed in the Memorial Centre.
