March 28th, 1930 - November 14th, 2011. Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Monday Nov. 14th, 2011, Mr. Frederick Neil of Spaniard's Bay, age 81 years. Pre-deceased by his parents Agustus and Ethel Neil. Leaving to mourn are, his loving wife Gertrude of 59 years; one son Claude wife (Patricia), Goulds; two daughters: Gail husband (Gary Peddle), Tilton, Mary husband (Jeff Smith), Tilton; seven grandchildren: Amy and Tracey Peddle, Megan and Matthew Neil, Paul, Jenny and Danny Smith; one brother Llewellyn wife (Jessie) Neil; one sister Marina husband (Bob Churchill, deceased); and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Lynch’s Funeral Home, Spaniard's Bay. Visitation, Monday Nov. 14th, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday Nov. 15th, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday Nov.16th, 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Funeral service Wednesday Nov. 16th, at 2 p.m. from Holy Redeemer Anglican Church, Spaniard's Bay. Interment to follow at Green Head Anglican Cemetery. No flowers by request, however donations in his memory may be made to the Carbonear General Hospital or a charity of ones choice.
