It's been one year since you went away,
And we miss you more everyday.
What we would give to see your smile,
And hear your laughter for awhile.
But we know it's not to be,
For you are in Heaven with God, you see.
We are grateful for the years we had,
But what we've lost makes us so sad.
We will never forget you, that's for sure,
We will meet you again at Heaven's door.
