On Oct 21th, we said good-bye to a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Our family would like to express our sincere gratitude to our relatives, neighbours and friends who supported us through this difficult time. To those who kept us in their prayers, visited, phoned and travelled to be to be with us, we thank you. To Dr. M. Gallivan, for his constant care and support of Dad, and to Dr. P. Creighton for her care the last few months, we thank you. To the Day Hospital Staff at the Glace bay Complex, with special thanks to Arlene, and finally, to the New Waterford Home Care workers, we thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. To Lt's Joshua and Joyce Downer, thank you for the beautiful service, to Ray Holland, thank you for your beautiful solo, Dad always loved to listen to you sing. To Nerissa (grand-daughter), thank you for your heartfelt to "Da" . To the ladies of the Salvation Army Home League, thank you for the wonderful luncheon after the funeral. To the pallbearers Butch, Jimmie and Ralph Hoffman, Gerald and Sam and Roddie Boutilier, we thank you. To Vina and Angus of Patten's Funeral Home, we thank you for assistance, caring and professionalism, but most of all Michele, who went above and beyond during this most difficult time. Thank you. To each and everyone who helped in any way, your kindness, care and love did not go unnoticed and will never be forgotten.
