Peter Frederick Robert Arsenault, beloved husband of Kathi and father to Kyle, Arthur and Joey, passed away suddenly on Nov. 11, 2011, at the age of 38 years.
Peter is survived by his wife and children whom he adored. He will be lovingly remembered by his father, Arthur (Gwen) Arsenault, Nova Scotia; his sisters, Gina (Wes) Shaw, Onoway, Michele (Frank) Lochli, Airdrie, and Nicole (Jason) Loader, Olds; as well as six nieces and nephews who thought the world of him, Josh, Brittany, Taylor, Jordan, Karissa and Brendan. His memory will be further treasured by a large extended family and many dear friends both in Alberta and Nova Scotia.
Peter was predeceased by his grandparents, Fred and Marion Arsenault, Robert and Florence Burke, as well as his mother, Brenda Arsenault and many other loved ones.
Peter was born in North Sydney, Aug. 2, 1973. He was raised and schooled in the area. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved the open water.
Peter moved west at the age of 17. He worked in construction until discovering his calling as a boilermaker. Peter was a member of the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers local 146.
He lived in Calgary and Olds before meeting his wife and soulmate Kathi. Peter was a devoted father and husband he enjoyed spending time with his family and loved camping and spending time in the outdoors.
A celebration of Peter’s life will be held at Mountain View Funeral Chapel, 5226 - 46 St., Olds, Alta., on Friday, Nov. 18, 2011, at 2 p.m.
