Passed peacefully away at the Leonard Miller Pallative Care Centre, surrounded by her loving family, on November 15, 2011, Donna Meadus, aged 63 years. Predeceased by her father Lester Snelgrove, sister Olga Penney, and brother-in-law James Webb. Leaving to mourn, her loving husband of 44 years, Owen, and their sons: Jason (Kim), Geoff, and Stephen (Heidi), as well as three adored grandchildren: Jane, Stephanie and Oscar. Also leaving to mourn, her mother, Gertrude Snelgrove; sisters: Marie (Jerry Whelan), Olive Webb, and Sandra (Mark Gagne); brother John (Kim); brothers-in-law: Wally Penney, and Vaughn Meadus (Alda); sister-in-law Evelyn (Gerry Bennett); as well as a large number of extended family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Monday, November 21, 2011 from 12 noon-4 pm & 7-9 pm. No funeral service will take place, however, a private family interment will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations in Donna’s memory may be made to the Autism Society.
