November 26, 1982 – November 15, 2011. Left this life much too early at the age of 28 on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at the Health Sciences Centre in the presence of his family and friends. Predeceased by grandparents, Wilbur Smith, Walter and Clara Reid, uncles Wes and Ricky and close family friend Llewellyn Reid. Left to mourn with sad hearts and loving memories are wife Jackie and baby Philip; loving parents Brenda and Lemuel; brother and best friend Tyler (Jennifer); grandmother Berdina Smith; in-laws Gertie and Wallace, Stephen (Michelle) and special nephew Joshua; as well as a large family of aunts, uncles, cousins and a huge circle of friends. Philip is also lovingly remembered by his band mates from the Third Strike: Dean Reid, Sheldon Reid and Jason Jerrett. Philip touched the hearts of many with his genuine charm and friendly smile in the short time he was with us. He will always be remembered and missed by all who knew him. Resting at Warren’s Funeral Home, Dildo on Friday, November 18, 10:00 am until time of funeral. A service of Thanksgiving and Celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, November 20, at 2:00 pm from All Saints’ Anglican Church, Dildo. Interment to follow at All Saints’ Anglican Cemetery.
